Two blippin kinds by Neonigma
Blippin traits by Neonigma

Basic description:
Blippin are quadruped, soft, reptilian creatures with strange balloon-like attributes. They have a pouch on both sides of their cheek/jaw and a flexible tail, both able to inflate with helium to allow them to float. Their distinctively larger back paws let them paddle through the air.
Blippin were believed to once be marine creatures, but have since evolved to live on land. Their diet still hints towards their marine ancestors (a fondness for fish).

Diurnal or Nocturnal: Diurnal

Life span: 40 - 50 years

Habitat:
They have been found to adapt themselves to just about anywhere. They are most commonly found near bodies of water, such as lakes, oceans, and rivers.

Temperament:
Blippins are very a very sweet, timid species. While gaining their trust takes time, it is well worth it, as they become a loyal companion for life. (Of course, individual personalities from each individual blippin may vary.)

Reproduction:
They are known for their loyalty, both to their owners and an individual mate, and will mate for life. They have clutches of up to 4 eggs; sometimes they will have less, sometimes more.
Male blippins will use their cheek pouches and tails to impress potential mates. When they court, they inflate their pouches just as they would when they float.

Sexual dimorphisism:
Appearance-wise- Males have slightly larger pouches and longer tails than females.
Temperament-wise- none.
